Please read these Terms of Use ("Terms") carefully before using the PHP× service at https://phpx.world (the "Service"), operated by Chris Morrell.

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you disagree with any part of these Terms, you may not access the Service.

Service Description

The Service provides only technical hosting infrastructure for PHP event organizers. I do not:

  • Organize or manage any events
  • Make decisions about event content or participation
  • Set policies for groups
  • Moderate or control event content
  • Verify accuracy of information
  • Handle payments
  • Manage user data beyond basic hosting requirements

All event organization, management, and content decisions are the sole responsibility of the individual group organizers.

Disclaimer

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranties of any kind. I do not:

  • Guarantee website availability or performance
  • Verify the accuracy of any posted content
  • Take responsibility for user-submitted content
  • Guarantee data retention or backup
  • Provide technical support beyond basic hosting

Limitation of Liability

I provide only the technical hosting platform and am not liable for:

  • Content posted by organizers or participants
  • Actions or decisions of organizers
  • Accuracy of event information
  • Loss of data or service interruptions
  • Any damages resulting from use of the Service

My total liability for any claims related to the Service shall not exceed the amount paid (if any) for use of the hosting service.

Data Processing and GDPR

When you register for events through this Service, your registration data will be shared with the relevant event organizers. I act only as a data processor, while event organizers are the data controllers. By registering, you consent to this data sharing. Event organizers are responsible for handling your data in compliance with GDPR and applicable privacy laws.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Pennsylvania. Any disputes must be filed in federal or state courts in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Changes to Terms

I reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service following any changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
